Fest Anča is the only animated film festival in Slovakia that has been bringing the best of international and Slovak animation to both adult and young audiences for over 18 years. Through its unique programme, educational activities, and support for emerging creators, the festival raises awareness of animated film and its many forms. In 2023, Fest Anča became the first and only festival in Slovakia to be recognised as an Oscar® Qualifying Festival and is also a founding member of the international Animation Festival Network, connecting leading European animation festivals.
